The Lake Country Garden Club co-funded this project with the District of Lake Country and the Public Art Advisory commission. The purpose was to beautify and educate with the emphasis on gardens and nature.

Demonstration Garden
The dream of this garden started in 2024. With the support of the District of Lake Country, the SE corner of Swalwell park is being transformed into a living classroom starting spring of 2026.
Love of Gardening Symposium
2026 was our inaugural year for this educational event. Gardeners from the Okanagan area shared their experience in small group settings on topics from container planting, soil health, garden design to soil blocking and spring planning.

Join us for your first meeting!
The club meets every third Thursday at 7pm at the Oceola Fish and Game club at 11888 McGowan Road In Lake County BC. First meeting of the 2026 season is March 19th.
